How to Monitor IP Address Changes?

30th April 2024

In our daily internet usage, we often overlook our own IP addresses, but it's actually quite easy to check if you're curious. So, how can you view your local area network (LAN) IP address?

I. Via Wireless WiFi Connection

If you're connected to the network via wireless WiFi, checking your IP address is straightforward. Simply click on the WiFi icon in the bottom right corner of your screen, then select the name of the WiFi network you're connected to from the pop-up window. Next, right-click on the WiFi name, choose "Properties" or "Status," and then click the "Details" button on the status page to view the IP address of your current device.

II. Via Wired Connection

If you're connected to the network via a wired connection, you can also easily check your IP address. Just click on the "Start" menu or press the Win+R keys to open the "Run" dialog, type "cmd," and click OK. Then, in the command prompt window that appears, type "ipconfig /all," and press Enter. You'll see all the IP addresses connected to your computer, including both wired and wireless connections.

Conclusion

Using these methods, you can easily find out your IP address. Additionally, by monitoring your IP address, you can observe if there have been any changes when using IP proxies.

For enhanced security and privacy when browsing online, it's recommended to use IPHTML proxies. These proxies offer additional layers of protection and anonymity, ensuring a safer internet browsing experience.
